Rita Levi-Montalcini Lecture 2014

On 15 April 2014 the Rita Levi-Montalcini Lecture was delivered by Susumu Tonegawa (MIT-Riken, USA, Japan), Nobel Laureate for his fundamental contribution to understanding the mechanisms by which mnemonic traces or engrams are formed and stored in the brain. The Lecture entitled “Engrams for genuine and false memories” was followed by an International Workshop on “Engrams and Memory Traces”, in which eminent scientists presented their studies on learning and memory processes, which are formed by a set of neuronal networks.
