Congratulations to EBRI President on his election to the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei
Professor Antonio Cattaneo, President of the European Brain Research Institute (EBRI) and Professor of Physiology at the Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa, has been elected member of the Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei within the class of Physical, Mathematical and Natural Sciences, Category V – Physiology, Pharmacology and Neuroscience.
The induction ceremony was held on 9 November 2018 at Palazzo Corsini, headquarters of the Accademia dei Lincei.
The Accademia Nazionale dei Lincei, founded in 1603 by Federico Cesi, is the oldest scientific academy worldwide. One of the first illustrious members of the Academy was Galileo Galilei. Since 1992, the Academy acts as scientific consultant to the President of the Italian Republic and has recently been granted his High Permanent Patronage. One of the first illustrious members was Galileo Galilei.
